Your Chance to Hangout with Kristin Davis!

Ever wondered what inspired actress Kristin Davis to become an Oxfam ambassador? Are you curious which Oxfam America Unwrapped gift is Kristin’s favorite: the goat or the cow? Want to hear about her work on the ground with us and how she’s seen firsthand the good these gifts do?

Well, now’s your chance to ask those questions and more! This Thursday at 6PM EST, Oxfam is hosting a Google+ Hangout with Kristin Davis, our President Ray Offenheiser…and you.

In the last few months, you have stepped up in big ways to fight against hunger, poverty, and injustice. Whether you’ve donated to help provide aid in the Sahel, spoken up to fix the broken food system, volunteered at a Coldplay concert, or chosen to Gift Better with Oxfam America Unwrapped for Mother’s Day, you’ve proven once again that we couldn’t do what we do without you.

As a special thank you for your support, Ray and Kristin want you to be part of their Google+ Hangout. Everyone can watch the Hangout – but, to be on screen with Kristin, Ray, and me, there’s just one spot available. Here’s how you can enter to participate:

• Check your calendar: The Hangout is on Thursday, May 10 at 6 PM EST. Are you available?
• Think of three questions you’d like to ask Kristin or Ray about Oxfam and the work we do.
Submit them here: www.oxfamamerica/HangoutwithOxfam
• We’ll contact the person who asks our favorite questions and help prepare you to be on
screen during the Hangout.

I’ll be moderating the conversation using the questions you’ve submitted and live questions from Facebook and Twitter. Want to see if Kristin or Ray will answer your question? Be sure to tune in on Thursday at 6PM EST for our Google+ Hangout.

Can’t wait to read the questions you send in. Hope you’ll Hangout with us on Thursday!

PS – We asked Kristin one question already: What is she getting moms in her life for Mother’s Day? Answer: She’s honoring them with gifts that help moms and families around the world – like vegetable gardens to help families earn a living or helping to restore preschools so children can learn in safety. You can honor moms in your life too: get started at
